6 rolls of pennies... hand rolled.... thought I might get lucky.

Found:

1959
1944

And..... same color... just a tad bigger than a penny.... a 1 Penny from somewhere else. No country specified. Can someone help?

Bust is of Elizabeth II, and other wording on front is D.G. Reg. F. D. 1989
Back is a picture of a crown, with a fence below the crown and two chain links running down the two sides.
Any idea? Not old, and i'm sure worthless, just neat to find mixed in.

That's a British penny you've got there. The item below the crown is a "portcullis," an entrance barrier common in castles. WTG on the wheats!

Thank you Immy! I thought it was British... but didn't think they had cents... just pounds/chillilngs and pence.

Thank you.

The Brittish Pennys that I have found are copper and the size of our half dollars. Which is where I found them roll hunting halves.

HH,

Glad to help! My mini library of coin reference books comes in handy too.
