third box this week with no silver. over half of the coins had a stripe marked across the reeding. So, I guess someone had turned in lots of coin and I was just lucky enough to get there leavings. I did manage to fill a couple of blanks in my folder a 1987-P and a 2002-D. Oh yea I also found one of those gold plated halves a 1983-D with 1960 and 1980 stamped on it above IN GOD and WE TRUST.

WTG on the 87-P, goldinmypan! That hole is still empty in my book. Yeah, it's funny what people do to halves that they've searched. I've found a dozen or so with two and three digit numbers written between the "LI" in Liberty and Kennedy's nose. Gotta be someone's mark. Hang in there! I went through a silver drought a couple of months back.

$100 in casino halves netted me a 1966 and my third 2003-D today. $35 in nickels was terrible -

2001 Canadian

The first time not one from the 40's showed. Yecch! Decided to start rolls of Canadian nickels by date since the Royal Canadian Mint has begun melting all pre-2001 coins. Should be interesting.
