Kind of a boring battle this week mostly common wheats. Tanner keeps his streak alive with winning with 13 wheats (oldest 1929) and one Canadian King George. Dad made a good effort this week and found 12 (oldest 1942). and one Canadian King George. We did get a Canadian Penny book this week are oldest Canadian since we started searching is a 1929.

Keep on searching.

Are those King George's worth some extra $$?
I found one last week and just threw it in with my coppers.

We average about one King George per box, our record is four. I do not know what there value is. We have a least two rolls of them. From 1938 to 1953 we are only missing 1947. I have counted a few times and we will find over 60 Canadian cents in a box. We live about 10 minutes from the Canadian border.

Keep on searching Gordon and Tanner
