Tonight's 6 Brinks boxes of halves - TWO DREAM BOXES

I upped my Friday order to 6 boxes, and boy am I ever glad that I did. The numbers you're about to see still seem unreal to me, but like our own rileyboy says, "it's out there."

Box 6 had 45 rolls with at least 1 walker or Franklin in it, and many rolls had 5, 6, and 8. There was even one roll with 9 and one roll with 12. Here's the box by box breakdown.

Box 1
1 -1967

Box 2
1 - 1964
2 - 1967

Box 3
25 - Walking Liberty (dates to come later)
30 - Franklin (dates to come later)
1 - 1967

Box 4
1 - 1943 Walking Liberty
1 - 1966

Box 5
1 - 1967
3 - 1968
1 - 1969

Box 6
88 - Walking Liberty (dates to come later)
80 - Franklin (dates to come later)
1 - 1964
3 - 1965

All in all there were 239 Keepers and over 83 ounces of silver. Here are some pictures of this spectacular evening.

What I wouldn't give, to have learned about CRH when I was in Maryland instead of Utah. Rumor has it the finds are better out East due to it being settled before the West. Then again, the beginning of settling Utah happened in 1847.

Think about what you just said. That really only applies to metal detecting. No revolutionary era coins out west. All the coins he found were minted when the west was already settled.

Well, yeah. But how are you going to top it next week?

Nice Score!! I don't think there are that many good halfs in all the coin stores around here, let alone banks!!

Amazing!! Just curious, did you think that topping box 3 was even possible before you opened the rest?
