Today's small road trip & 4 more dime boxes

Did a small road trip today (about 20 banks), and there weren't many banks that had halves at all. The ones that did weren't too bad though.

$1.50 in tellers tray
1 - 1969

$4.00 in teller's tray
1 - 1942 Walking Liberty
1 - 1964

$2.50 in teller's tray
Skunk

$5.50 in teller's tray
1 - 1969

$12.50 in teller's tray
1 - 1950 Franklin
2 - 1964
1 - 1966
1 - 1967
3 - 1968

$0.50 in teller's tray
Skunk

I'm really addicted to dimes lately on the non half dollar days, so I did 4 more boxes of dimes tonight:

Box 1
Skunk

Box 2
1951

Box 3
1956

Box 4
Skunk

Nice finds! :icon_thumleft:

When you score Bens and Walkers from tellers' trays, you can be almost 100% positive that there are no silver searching tellers at that location. I'd definitely put those locations on "the list" to hit pretty frequently.

While she certainly wasn't a "searcher", she did know they were silver. As she counted them out she said, "there are even some older silver ones in here." I just stared straight ahead with a slight nod and no reply.

That was a decent payoff, but wow the legwork!
I remember when I was heavily searching dimes, (as in addicted). What a blast! What a lot of work too. Keep it up!

I understand everyone defines "a lot of work" differently, but to me, 60 miles round trip (about 1/4 tank of gas) isn't very much at all. I left my house at 9:15 AM and was home by noon.

I just cant stop Rich, it's crazy. When there's nothing that needs my immediate attention I feel like I should be doing something with coins.
