wierd 2005 penny....STEEL????

just found what looks like a steel 2005 penny.

any ideas?

It's prob just a regular zinc penny that's missing the copper coating, an error, but nothing exceptionally rare. If your 2005 sticks to a magnet it's steel.

could be electroplated. I have a 1970-D thats gold toned.
