7/15/06 pennies & nickels

The usual $10 had some decent results -

Wheaties: 1945, 1957

Canadian: three shiny 1964's and a 1987

Here are my no-shows so far this year from post-1940 wheaties (not counting steels):

1941, 1941-S, 1942-D, 1944-D, 1945-D, 1947, 1947-D, 1948-D, 1949-S, 1951, 1951-S, 1953, 1955-S

Amazing that the 1941 hasn't shown yet since it's the 6th most common wheat.

Also brought home $35 in nickels from the casino and got -

1941
1941S
1942 (non-silver)
1947D
1947S
1952S
1955D

Plus $12 from my weekly visit to B of A. They were all in old-looking rolls so I thought I might find some goodies. No such luck, just a 1947 & 1956.

The $12 in nickels was purchased from Bank of America (B of A) only because the wrappers looked old. I'm always reluctant about buying rolls from the bank because getting brand new coins is a real possibility. The $35 was obtained from the casino along with the pennies.
