I got $1000 halves, and $1000 dimes..

I haven't opened any yet, but I did find this. It's holed, but this box is atleast promising..

UPDATED:

Very nice boxes from this bank.. Especially the dimes. Lately I have been getting bad dimes, but not this time.. :)

Wow, that half dollar has seen its day! I have gotten a 1990 holed half dollar once, kept it just to keep it, don't know why. That box is promising!

I remember my first half dollar box back in January 17, 2011... a 1964 ender!! Wasn't a dream box but was my best to date, (1) 90% and (6) 40%...

Hope you get a load of halves!

Very nice. At least it won't be a skunk box.

As far as holed coins I put a ribbon through all my holed silver coins and put them on the Christmas tree. They are one of the few ornaments that I don't have to worry about breaking.

Update:
no more 90%'ers, but no skunks yet so I'm happy with these boxes.. Still have 3 dime boxes to go.

$500 Box1 (halves):
1964 (holed)
1965
1966
1967 x2
1968 x2
1969

$500 Box2 (halves)
1967

In the first box, 1 roll had 19 coins, and 1 roll had 21 coins, 1 of which was 40%.. (the overal count was correct)
The second box had 6 rolls with 21 coins, and 5 rolls with 19 coins (one coin extra in the box). Never have I had boxes with so many rolls that were miscounted..

$250 box1 dimes
1962

I consider if the box is short, the cost of doing our hobby. Of course it is never good to be short of what you paid..

I've only done 2 half boxes because they're a pita to get around here. They even charged me $7.50 a box. That's why I don't do more. Anyway I had a nice franklin on the end of one roll so I was excited. It was the only silver in the box. The other box had a standing/walking lib. A little slick but exciting none the less. $7.50 is just to big a risk if I'm getting skunked or just 1 40%er.

I agree. I take the same kind of stance at the grocery store. Sometimes I get overcharged for something, and sometimes I get undercharged for something. Unless it's something significant I don't usually worry about it. Overall It probably turns out to be about correct..

I have been counting my rolls inside the bank lately.. I have read stories on here where people have gotten boxes of halves and have been 10 rolls short! Ouch.. I've never been short a roll, and rarely short rolls either..
