I went to the main branch of my bank Tuesday to trade in some rolled coins, and the cashier told me some great news! They installed a coin sorter in the lobby that account holders can use at NO CHARGE! No more rolling coins, or trying to dispose of halves! I can dump 'em all in the machine myself!
I brought in 48.00 worth, ran them through the machine, and got a reciept. I went to the same cashier that was there Tuesday and asked for 40 in quarters, 8 in pennies. She brought out a penny tray, and I saw the pennies I had just traded in- I mark the rolls with 4 black stripes. She gave me different ones.
$80 quarters- nothing
$8 nickels- nothing
$10 dimes- nothing
$12 pennies- 3 wheats, oldest 1945, 3 canadian
I have a big red money bag ready to go in the machine tomorrow!
