Last 3 months from appx 43 boxes and some CWR;

78 FDR's, 8 Merc's, 2 Ca's, and 1 Barber

usually average about 2 dimes per box

so about 1:10

Since Jan 2007.

Dimes searched: 1,969,831
Merc: 74
Roosevelt: 1021
Canadian silver: 74
Barber: 2
Seated: 2

Merc : Roosevelt = 1 : 13.9

And almost all of mine were 1 here or 2 there. 2 bags had 4 and 1 bag had 3. In other words, no big scores of mercs. Did have one bag with 50 silver roosevelts in it and 1 merc, but removing that only makes my ratio like 1 : 13.3 or thereabouts.

I am currently at:

4 Mercs: 64 Rosies or
1:16

Also have 7 80% Canadians and a nice 1953 El Savador 25 Centavos 90% that I found today.

Good find on the 25 centavos. My only foreign silver in the wild is an 80% South Africa 3 pence, 1943

I have just changed my ratio... I came across more CRH silver dimes, not recantly found, but from the past...

0:13(one dime is a 1964 canadian)

so this brings my average up to 1:55
