Todays 6 Boxes of Halves...
I searched 6 boxes of halves today, plus about $150 in CWRs, and another $250 or so in dime CWRs. Here is what I salvaged:
Box1-67
Box2-44s Walker (ender),66,67x5,68x3
Box3-64 (ender & only silver in box)
Box4-60d,61,61d Franklins,66,68
Box5-skunk
Box6-skunk
$150 CWRd halves- 66,67
$250 CWRd dimes-64dx2
Box2 was fun to open. That was my first Walker ender. Box4 had 3 gorgeous Bens- all bright BU coins. Looks like someone popped them out of grandpas Dansco album.
Earlier in the week I did 6 more boxes of halves. 5/6 were skunks. 1 box gave up 2 40s- 65,69
Total silver for the week = 4.3 oz of pure bliss.

It's more likely grandpa had a Whitman.
1/100 of an American dollar is a cent. It is NOT a penny. The word penny is used by several other countries, such as Great Britain, to denote their smallest denomination. In order to be numismatically correct, you must use the term cent to describe the American coin.
