So today I was searching 2 ordered boxes of pennies. I first didn't believe my eyes, but then I put the magnet closer and clink! ( I shouldn't do that to degrade the value) I finally found the elusive 2006 no P magnetic penny.
I will post other finds when I am finished, but I just couldn't wait to share this one. It's a beauty!
Here is the info about my find: Coins and Canada - 1 cent 2006 - Canadian coins price guide and values
Enjoy the pics!

P.S As a spoiler and a little step forward, in that 2 boxes I also found 2 clipped pennies. One being a double clip!

I thought the holy grail of Canadian cents was the 1936 with a bump on it?

That is an impossible find, only 2 are known to exist. This one is modern but has a mintage of 233,000. This is twice as low as 484,000 pieces of 1909 S VDB mintage, so that what makes the grail!

Ya I know I was just giving you a hard time lol. Nice score.

BTW- I lived up in Vancouver BC for a few years 2001-2004 or so. Was not into coins then, but what would CRHing have been like at that time? Any silver to be had?

It would have been good, it was only the beginning of the Alloy Recovery program.

I was a small kid in 2001, so I never CRHed. I wished to go back in time though, in 1958 or so. Grab some old silver dollars and half dollars and come back.
I think in 2001 there were a lot of goodies in circulation. However it doesn't mean that one should give up on CRH now.

I think I was fake. As far as I know he didn't send it to the Certification company.

Since you posted it on an existing topic I assumed your coin was similar. As for your coin, I'm not sure what is going on there.
