Tonight I found a 1981 penny that looks like the die hit it wrong because it looks weird and off. Any info?

Still try to post the pic.
1/100 of an American dollar is a cent. It is NOT a penny. The word penny is used by several other countries, such as Great Britain, to denote their smallest denomination. In order to be numismatically correct, you must use the term cent to describe the American coin.

If it is not off on the other side, threw it back. There is no value to it.
What I found was a legit off center or it is called something else in Canada: Penny hunting log for Canadian Hunter (I see the trend...good idea!)

Found it: Uncentered broadstrike. It is a bit different from Off Center.
