Didn't find a sliver, but found one for the books.
Went through a box of nickels today, didn't find any war, buffs, or V-nicks, but I found a higher than average number of pre 60 nickels. No real key dates but I finally got a 51-S I needed. That leaves only 38-D, 38-S, 39-D, 42-D, 42-S, 43-D, 44-D, 50-D, and 55 for the "found in circulation" books I am making this year. Finally in the single digits for the amount of coins I need for my books. It's pretty much all the key dates (minus 39-S) plus war nicks. Anyway I guess I can officially call my skunk streek off...56 days, about 3-4 thousand searched in all denoms other than penny rolls. Still getting skunked for silver, but at least I found something of value (in my eyes). Hope you guys have found some good stuff this week so far. Good luck tomorrow!
