Silver and Gold plated half
So my first, in the wild caught, Walking liberty showed up today. It appears to be a 1943 however it also appears to be silver and gold plated. Has anyone seen these before? The gold plating is on the eagle side. I just want to make sure it's legit. I don't have a scale but I do plan to take it to a LCS in the event that I don't get overwhelming assurances that it's good to go.
I'm in class tonight so no camera to post any pics.
Thanks,
SilverJack

Typically, these are real Walkers that were "embellished" for a jewelry piece such as a medallion for a necklace.

Yes, I found one before. The eagle is gold-plated. It's a keeper.

So I managed a couple pics. My concern now is that last night I hit this with a magnet and while it didn't stick, there was minimal attraction. Any chance that is due to the plating? Or is more than likely that I have a fake? I'll get by a LCS some point soon but I thought I would ask here first.

R.I.P. Rich Hartford, You'll be missed.
it should be real, the drop test doesn't lie, also, if you have a scale in grams, if it weighs around 12.5g(give or take a few grams for wear or added paint/plating), it should be silver... nice find!
