Found a '69 this weekend that had a nice rainbow patina to it, tho a bit worn. When I flipped over, I saw something had spilled on the coin and the "patina" was an artificial result of whatever this stuff may be.

Anyone ever see this before?

Yup! Though it could just be as a result of moisture seeping in to a box that had been sitting in a vault for 20 years. I got a rainbow patina half last week from 1991 in a box that had TONS of discolored, funky looking halves with corrosion and all sortsa stuff.

Saw a silver coin that was near a strong heat source for a while, but not directly burned that looked a little bit like that one.

Nice color.

Congratulations,
