Two weeks of hunting: results, and a question

Well, almost two weeks.

1 Barber (1912D)
6 Walkers (1929S, 1933S, 2x 1941, 2x 1945)
6 Franklins (all in surprisingly bad shape, aside from one pretty nice 1948D)
15 1964 90%'s
160 assorted 40%'s
2 Proofs (1990S, and a silver! 2006S)
1 Silver bicentennial
and 6 silver roosevelts (ran out of halves :P)

all out of about $4000 halves searched, and $300 dimes.

I have quite a few boxes to go through this week, so hopefully the next time I post I will have much more silver to report

My question is about Ike's. I have gone through close to $400 of them without a single silver. A bank fairly close to me, that i already got $200 from has another EIGHT hundred bagged halves waiting for me if I want them. I am not really in a position to hold onto them for marginal ebay resale, so I would basically be getting them solely for silver Ike's and the hope of older goodies. Is it worth picking the rest up, despite striking out on the first $200? Anyone have any success with bagged Ikes?

Amazing results for two weeks! Many have not found a Barber, Walker or even Bens after months or years.

It sure seems like right now the boxes are HOT! Did the Fed just start shoveling some of the bottom of the pile into the rolling machine

What a great variety after only two weeks! Interesting story about that 1933-S Liberty half - it was the only coin the San Fransisco mint made that year. Well done!
