Good thing I started small.
Being new to this hobby, I bought $20.00 worth of dime rolls from a bank. I excidedly searched my coins for anything special. Nothing my first run, but that's ok, hey, I'm not out nothing. Back to the bank I go. I live in a small own so I go to a different bank. They pour the coins in and bring me $15.20 back. "Sorry sir, that's what the machine counted"
I am cursed with the mayfield luck.
But, to make it better, on my way home I stopped at a lil "mom & pop" store and at the counter there's a tray, "need a penny........." Staring up at me was a 45 wheatie, of course i replaced it with 3 shiney new ones. I'm a nice guy like that.

????

I would have raised some serious hell if a bank tried to tell me that!

At least if I knew for certain there was 20 dollars worth of dimes.

That is THEFT!

I've been shortchanged when they insisted on counting the coins before too. Not that bad, but still.

Well I'm glad you got a wheat that day at least! :D
