I have been detecting for awhile and I have gone to the bank and asked for wrapped, usually paper, coins.

Is that what Coin Roll Hunting is?

Or do you CRH's take a different route or ask the bank(?) for coins other than those normally given in paper wrappers ??

Thanks

you got it rick.

you can order boxes of stuff wrapped at a sorting facility - or you can get rolls customers deposit. OR you can buy less than a roll, from the teller.

Ricky, just walk into the bank and ask for any extra coin rolls they would be willing to sell you.

Okay, I think I have it.
Take my 401K and buy all the rolls they have in my bank and any of those within a 10 mile radius :happysmiley:
I wish...

I will start and see if anything good turns up.
Thanks for the info.

Good luck Rick. I have been thinking about combing the beach where I live starting in the spring, so I may see you more over on the detecting forum.

If you are looking for halves, you will have enough money for all the CWR.

I agree I think the most I have ever seen in cwr was like 30$ and the teller was holding them for a regular but he had not been in for a week. I got skunked
