I have thought about this as well. Still have yet to go for it.

I would think that $2 would be good to go through. Just like halves they are the less commonly used denomination. I would think that $1 would be similar to hunting quarters.

A strap of $2 is $1000 i believe.

i'm pretty sure a strap is just 100 bills so a $2 dollar bill strap would be $200

It is more productive to search coin. It would always be nice to have some red seals and the like, but it just isn't worth the time.
