Think I found a half dollar blank planchet.

I edge search so I almost missed it, the copper core looks exactly like all the others. At first I put it aside thinking someone must have taken a grinder or sander to it and ground it down so it's blank, then I got thinking, if they did that, then there might be copper showing on the obverse/reverse but there isn't, so I just weighed it and it weighs the same as a regular Kennedy half, 11.2 grams. Anybody (Sag) know much about these, rarity, worth etc...? Thanks. If anyone is interested, I'll try to post pics later or tomorrow.

It might not be rare but it is very scarce. Hard to put a value on it though, most likely worth about the same amount as a nice clip.

The only one I have seen while searching around $1000000 worth of halves. But again, I edge search, so I could of missed a lot of them. Thanks guys. HH
