Attention CRHters, I know its hot outside but don't be trading your hard earned and hand picked AG for a tempting melting ice cream cone! Word is that there is an anonymous ice cream joint with a cute little sign on their building advertising this deal..Wonder how many suckers they raked in so far?

See the original post at reddit.com for some hilarious comments too. OnARoll out!

You gotta give them credit for trying. Oh yeah, I'm selling mountain dews for a silver dime!

Oh i give them a bunch of credit, I think the idea is brilliant to be honest..They probably have kids robbing there grandparents coin collections and then the grandparents think its cute because they can bond and talk about the olden days as they shovel the cone in their mouths..You throw them a dime and they will give you sprinkles (just speculation lol)..

I wouldn't go as far as boycotting. They're just in it for the silver like the rest of us!

Yes I'd seriously consider gas at 20 cents a gallon
at today's silver prices

being a quarter is worth

So calling in Drone strike might be over acting?

what a shame, a kid will break into their parents coin collection for an ice cream cone... of course this ice cream shop knows exactally what they are doing, and the coins will likely never see circulation unfortunately.

I just had a flashback of my bros and I walking uptown from grandmas, to buy ice cream using silver, and penny candy...thanks for the memories!
BTW, I'm really not old. In my mind I'm eighteen.

Screw the boycott, I'm going to buy a van and a ice cream maker.... For real, I'll even take Silver 10 or 5 cent pieces. A silver half for a waffle cone and chocolate dip? Milkshake or banana split?

I think that's pretty rad, certainly a good idea. why not see what people bring in? sure some punk kid might rob their father for an ice cream cone, but they might do that anyway
