I am not sure if anyone on here would be able to point me in the right direction, but I am trying to look up information on some rare old German coins. I have attempted google and as usual things are not working out like they should lol. I am in need of a site that I can look up the coins and see a rough estimate of their worth.

I would buy a world coin reference book on Amazon for $20 used, it is money well spent. I have 3 books from 1801-1900 1901-2000 and 2001-present.

And if $20 is above your budget, simply go to your library and look up those coins in the same catalogs that BuffaloBoy just suggested. And feel free to post the pics of one or more here and let the TN members have a go at ID-ing and giving you an est. of value.

Values:

1690 Mecklenburg-Streitz Fine 1/48 Thaler silver- can't find this in the book
1872 B Mecklenburg-Streitz Au 1Pfennig Copper- Is this Mecklenburg-Streilitz or Mecklenburg-Schwerin?
1790 Saxony XF Vicariant Issue 2 Groshen Silver- $80
1913 Bavaria Proof 2 Mark Copper- not in book, but a PF-65 sold for $202.89 on eBay
1624 HS Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel VF 4 Mariegroschen- $80
1807 Frankfurt XF (Token Issue) Jewish Pfennig Copper- I can only find a theler for that date
1911 D Germany AU/XF "Error" 10 Pfennig Copper/Nickel- what is the error?
1667 Osna Bruck VF Bishopric "Ernst August of Brunswick" 2 Mariegroshen Silver- $125

Sorry about not having the best references, and some of them are a a few years old, but it is at least something.
