A man pays for a dispute with this many quarters? How can someone order that much? And directly from the Fed? Man pays part of Illinois legal settlement with $150,000 in quarters : News I know that it was for a sad event that took place in this mans life, but this is a must see for coin roll hunters.

Those survivors appealed and won when the Mount Vernon, Ill.-based 5th District Appellate Court ruled against Roger Herrin, a retired foot surgeon whose business holdings include three Southern Illinois nursing homes. Herrin also owned seven community banks but sold those off in recent years.
He owned the banks (seven of them) that is how.

It's easy, If you have enough money to pay the fed to load them up & take them for a ride,
They'll do it.

I'm sure it turned out to be a round trip till the day was over.

Federal Reserve Loaded the Armored truck.
then onto a Flat bed to be driven to the 2 law firms.
People Pose & Smile holding the Bags for the cameras & give their story.
bags get reloaded into the Armored truck,
taken back to the Federal Reserve & Electronic Transfers get sent to the Banks.
all on the Illinois businessman.

I bet it cost him an Extra $10,000 or more for labor & over exaggerated security.
in case a gang of Hercules's showed up & Grabbed all the bags & Ran :laughing7:

So I'm sure he wasn't Crying over the $150,000.00 settlement

I read that article before and it sounded like the people didnt even have a good case against the guy for his insurance money. His son died and i dont think it sounded like he was the one driving.

I was just wishing they would transfer that many halves to me like that. I bet I would get a lot of boxes that haven't been touched in decades!:sadsmiley:
