How to have an expert "grade" or analyze a huge die clash error?

That isn't an error. It's PMD, or post-mint damage. The "clash image is quite lopsided and the same image is on both sides of the coin; the obverse should have a memorial and the reverse should have an image of Lincoln. Your coin has images of the memorial on both sides. Not only that, the images are incuse, when they should be raised. All in all, i believe that multiple coins were squeezed into this coin. Sorry to say it, but your find is worth one cent.

I recently found a severe die clash on a 1995 cent, and it looks nothing like yours. It's a nice uncirculated (yours is an AU), but the expert I had look at it (Bill Fivaz) said it was only worth $5, so they aren't valuable errors.

Yep, even if it is clashed, the grading services won't normally even note minor clashes and die cracks. They only put major ones on the holder.

Thanks for explaining. To my untrained eye it looked like a die clash. But then, I'm not an expert. I appreciate the clarifications.
