Country Finds......

My husband & I both took Friday off to spend a few days in the country. I picked up the two boxes that came in Thursday afternoon, packed up and hit the road. I did some searching in one town that had about 8-9 banks plus the two boxes and here are the totals.

4-Franklins (51-S, 61, 2x63-D)
The 51-S is already in my collector book. The other three are repeats.....murphy's law.
9-64's
4-65's
17-66's
58-67's
35-68's
16-69's
2-Proofs (78-S & 79-S)

145 Total Keepers

There are more possibilities in that vicinity but will have to wait until another day.

I cannot keep up with the "Queen of Louisiana". I spent almost 3 days CRH'ing visiting 54 banks and searching over 22,000 halves. She still finds more silver than I do. I took 218 Kennedys and 5 Bennies out of circulation on my trip. I am going to disguise myself and try going into the banks not looking like a 55 year old fat a$$. Congrats on your silver haul, your hubby may be considering a job change soon if you keep up this silver recovery. Jim

$1000 from the 2 boxes and about another $3000 from the banks.

One box was good...low 40's for silver. The other box was about 10-12 silver coins.
