I came pretty close with my best score ever just over 3 years ago with 3 solid rolls of Walkers and Bens and a few 40%. Silver prices were around $43 oz or so at that time and I believe my total silver value for the day was around $960 or so. So that score would have much less silver value today but I didnt sell any of that silver and Im sure not planning to anytime soon. But there have been a lot of much bigger scores posted here even just this year including yourself I believe so many people have had scores that would qualify as $1000 or better silver value scores even at todays low silver prices.

I've had two, although one of them would no longer be a $1k day with the drop in silver.

I had one amazing day where I found over 1000 40% silver halves as well as several 90% thrown in too. Silver was in the $40's then. I remember someone commenting that it was over $7k melt value at the time. Should have sold every last coin immediately. :)

Never came close. As stated above, it would be especially hard to get a $1,000 day with these spot prices... That would be 396 40% halves, but it is possible.

I had two in 2011. Look at my posts on 12.7.11 and 12.3.11. On 12.3.11 it was $81 face and sold for $ 1,637. The other second day was similar.

Took some digging, and admittedly I got caught up in reading some old posts, but here it is.

http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/c...c-road-trip-7-28-11-multiple-solid-rolls.html

That certainly was an EPIC road trip score! And that was when prices were at $40 oz. It will be hard if not virtually impossible to ever top that one - for any of us. But I wouldn't regret not selling back then. The reality is silver is no less valuable today than it was then regardless of what the irrational low prices are today.

Back in the day before anyone knew about CRH in my area I had a few good days. I had one big customer roll find that made banner and I remember a box with about 160 90%. To state the obvious should have sold it all at peak. I did sell a bunch at $35 so that was nice! At the time I thought I was selling too low...

Best day ever was my dream bag. Produced 201 40%ers. Not $1000 though, think it was closer to $600 at the time

I've done it once in 2011. Scored 9 solid rolls of silver FDR dimes plus another 50 silver dimes in partial rolls. It was out of about $450 of CWR dimes. Silver was higher then, I did sell them for about $1100 to buy some coins I wanted for my collection. Have had several $200-$500 range scores from 2009-2012 as well, but only broke a grand once. Will be harder to do with silver lower now...

I had a $400 day earlier this year. I only get loose halves from the teller cause I'm in my teens and can't afford a box. But the $50 in CWR yielded 31 90% and 36 40%. Some grandfather probably rolled over in his grave. Lol

I had a $100 face value day ($100 face in 90%... and another $15 or so in 40%) when silver was over $40/oz. You do the math on that one.

I also had a $1000 melt value box. $1,100ish to be more exact.
