Went through 48$ in nickels and found some great stuff. First off, one of the rolls I opened had 18 Canadian Nickels. Who ever wrapped it put all the Canadian in the middle of the roll and had US nickels on the ends. I guess they didn't want to get caught turning in foreign coins, but I don't mind finding them(only keep 99.9% pre 1982 nickels). Secondly I found my second 1942 d nickel.:hello2: This one is hard to find with only 13.9 million minted. I know some of you nickel hunters need this one for your folder. Lastly found two off center nickels. Don't know if their worth much but I'll hold on to them. Also snagged a 2009 p and 1940 d nickel. HH, Zach.

nice off-centers, they will get you about $3 on EBAY. check all P mint Jeffs for die clashes. 83-P is more common and degree of clash varies, just recently spotted 88 and 89 P's with strong clash. I sell clashes at between $6 and $15 depending on wear, strike quality and severity of clash. as to Canadians the average per box is 10, automatic 50 cent loss!!!!!!.HH

Thanks for the info on the die clashes, and as for the Canadians, I keep the 99.9% nickel ones and throw the rest back. I live in Michigan so Canadian coins are very common. I'll be on the look out for those die clashes. HH and have a good day, Zach.

They appear to be misaligned dies, not off center strikes. I personally think they aren't off enough to bring a premium.
