Hey all,

Recently did a $1k bag of halves and found some interesting stuff. I found two cameos, an '81 and a '93 both in pretty good shape. Also, I found a '01 proof 90% Ag however, most interesting was a '96 half that seemed to be all copper, and missing the nickel layer of the sandwich. Looking at the reeded edge, one cannot find a nickel layer. Also, taking a dozen or so other common '96 halves from the bag, I weighed all of them and got 11.2 grams on the supposed error and an aggregate 11.35g on every other half.

Are the cameos worth anything more than .50 at this point? Is the '01 proof worth any more than it's weight in Ag and lastly, (after I post a picture) what's my 'crazy' index on the missing nickel?

Thanks to everyone in advance!

Not really worth anything, although you could sell them on ebay for a small profit. The other half just looks discolored to me. would need better pics.
