Has anyone used nic-a-date on silver coins, such as dateless standing liberty quarters? I've picked up several as junk silver lately, can't possibly read the dates. One is an 'S' mint, but again cannot read the date.
Another junk coin is a 1901 Barber dime. Can't tell if there's a mint mark on the back; almost looks like an 'S', which would be worth quite a bit I figure even if acid treated.
I'm thinking that if I can bring out the date on a junk silver coin, it can only increase it's value. Worst case scenario, it's still junk silver.
Thoughts?
