Hey guys I went through $125 in dimes and pulled this! Not the best condition but still EF to me atleast! A 1950 S roosevelt dime!

50S and 55D are the only two I need to finish the set I've been working on for 3 or 4 years now. Good job, looks good enough for my book. HH

The term key or semi key dates is not normally used, given that none of the business FDRs were minted with less than 12 million

(lowest mintage is 1955 philly 12.4 million)

"Key date" is relative. There are "keys" in every series - just means the most scarce relative to the common dates. I'd venture to say there are probably more '49 S's out there since they were probably saved in greater #s.
