I just get a bad feeling I will open it to find nothing but a bunch of worthless wheats to go along with the THOUSANDS I already have...but I also didnt buy it to admire its un-openness either so I just dont know what to do.

So I am thinking if I never open this roll, it will be worth maybe $30-$50...If I open it and find a 1909S VSB or an Eagle or an Indian in there, its worth much much more...I am leaning towards opening it...

Ripoff Report | denvercertifiedcoins Complaint Review Internet: 1195409

Well, I guess I should be happy I only lost $25 on the deal. They are getting these back if I have my way with EBAY and PAYPAL

I'm just gonna say it like it is...

Most of the people who sell those rolls on eBay have rolling machines and they know exactly what's inside before they roll them. They put a few attractive coins on the end to make you think you are gonna find something rare. I suppose there are a few out there that are legitimately unsearched. (I'd guess 1 in 100 sellers.)

That being said, you have no idea if they are legit or not, and because you don't know, you are buying them at your own risk. If you had found a $25 coin in there, you wouldn't want a refund, would you? But since you didn't, now you've been ripped off, right? I say if you're stupid enough to buy it, you should own it and learn from your lesson. I'm actually siding with the seller here. I'm sick of ebay siding with the buyer every time.

Are you sure you were scammed? If the 1930 was inside the roll, then yes, you were scammed. That scratch could have come from mishandling the roll. Did any of the inside coins have fresh scratches on them?

Never buy those supposedly unopened rolls. I hope you get your money back. What made you think that the roll was worth spending $25 on? Those two enders are nothing special. You usually see those rolls with a Indian head ender or a penny roll with a mercury dime ender.

the 1930 with the scratch was on the outside. Its the 3rd pic of the 3 pics I listed above...before I even decided to foolishly open the roll. Wish I would have noticed that first

These "unsearched" rolls have been talked about on these boards hundreds of times. They aren't truly unsearched original rolls 999/1000 times. But when you can sell $1.50 in wheat cents for $25 its a very profitable business.

Let the Buyer beware!

The issue about getting your money back is, Did the seller promised something that you didn't receive?
I am asking
I didn't see his ad
But the ones I have seen don't promise anything more than a roll of coins.
The seller shows you 1-2 coins from the roll and then hopes your imagination will lead you down the primrose path.

If the seller actually promised something that wasn't delivered, you'll get your money back.
If the seller advertised something that allowed you to dream that amazing treasure was awaiting you, that is a different story.
Consider this a good lesson that you learned for the low price of $25!
If I was running EBAY I would ban these types of sales as uniformly deceptive.
