Today's nickel box was good. Need proof?

Hello all,

After a couple skunk boxes in a row, it was nice to finally see some interesting finds. The day started off with a 2009-S proof, which was surprising given how tough it is to find a P/D from that year anyways. Shortly after that, a pretty nice 1939-D popped out! Key date whooo. It's not 1950-D, but I will take it in a heart beat. The box quieted down a bit afterwards, but I was also able to find a well-worn 1942-P War and 1990 proof. Two proofs in one box, how about that?

All in all, fun variety in this one. Happy hunting all!

Good box. I myself love proofs of any denomination. Fortunately for me a "skunk" box of nickels is nearly unheard of. I believe of the dozens and dozens of boxes I've done in all my time only 2 didn't have a war or buff.

The past two boxes have had neither a buffalo or a war. Heck, one of them literally had only 5 pre-1959s: 4 1947 and a 1954. :P At least this one was a good bounceback.
