I can only give you my ratio and it is excellent because I wasn't even looking for them. I was out looking for halves when a young male teller said "I don't have any halves but a guy brought some quarters in the other day and you could tell by the weight that they were silver". I asked if he had bought them and he said no because he did not want to spend $10 to buy the roll they came in. WHAT!!!???!! I whipped out a $10 bill and said I'll take em! It turns out that only $4 of the $10 were silver, but hey, who in their right mind would not buy any silver at face value?

A little off topic, but thats my ratio, 40%. I only wish it was always that easy. HH all.

I'd say 1:$800 in my experience. But then again, I've only searched around $6000 in quarters ever.

Like all coins, I think the rate is location dependent.

I typically find silver quarters at around 1 in $1000 to 1 in $2000.

I have a pretty good bases from searching quarter bags from UNICEF.

I would say about a silver quarter per $500. Not great, but about as good as im doing with halves right now so...

DONT Get the newer rolls, they are mainly state.
