So the day began with a bang... first roll had a 43-P War Nickel... I spill the second roll out and a very nice looking 1939 is staring me in the face... I flip it over, and lo and behold, there was an S! :hello2:

Strangely, the rest of that group of LOOMIS rolls wasn't nearly as good... the other 23 rolls had only 4 pre-60s, 3 of which were 1958-Ds... but no complaints here!!!

Thanks!

Yeah... the thing is that 1950 nickels just aren't out here on the West coast. I've found 2 Phillys in 7 1/2 months... and of course no Ds... but I press on!!!

38, 39, 50......

I find lots of '39 nickels... the occasional '38, and very rarely a '50...
To date, I've found around 60 1939s, 10 1938s, and only 2 1950s... so far 5 mintmarked 39s, 4 mintmarked 38s, and no mintmarked 50s...
