Baffled me the first time I noticed it, also.

It's really amazing what all can go unnoticed on coins when one doesn't pay attention. Over have a century and I'm just now finding out! :tongue3:

In all seriousness though, other than the new clad coating coming off of the newer cents, I think these coin rolling machine cause more damage than any other cause.
