Nice blank! It amazes me that those make it into circulation. It's definitely on my list of errors to find

worth $3 if it has no rim, this was aborted later, (after being milled to form the rim) so it's worth less. copper blanks worth 2X clad cents, & other coins can be MUCH higher. this will sell just :dontknow: how bad someone wants it. :laughing7:

Nice blank! It amazes me that those make it into circulation.

They are not a rare as you may think. Tanner was once given a starter coin collecting book. It told all about how coins were made, the mints etc. It had 3 or 4 cents in it. Like a new proof cent, wheat penny, and it had a Blank Planchet. It appeared that this set was mass produced. It may have even come from the mint it self.

It told about how coins were made. I think a lot of blank planchet finds come from these sets that have been broken open.
