Really late, but I just had to post this 1984 Rosie error. What would you call this one? The obverse has a raised outline going around the bust. Not really a cud, since it neatly surrounds the bust. Hope you can see it in the photo.

The reverse is really messed up. The bottom left has a cud or a crack and the "E" in United looks cracked. Bottom line, what would you call this error? Any input would be appreciated.

I've seen this before, but can't remember what it to is. Maybe something to do with grease on the die, but not chips. The E in united is just a hit. The lower edge is interesting. Maybe Frank will weigh in later.

Yup, I see that as well, but it looks like a groove. Not raised up or cracked. Stamped into the coin somehow?

Tried to find a Rosie that looked like it on eBay, but no luck. I'm very surprised that an error from 1984 was still in circulation. Most of the errors I find are from the last 5 or 6 years.

There are many errors in circulation. Just not that many people looking for them. Same with varieties.
