Probably as often as U.S. Hunters find Canadian silver. The closer to the border the better. I've found about a dozen silver Canadian dimes but only one half

I've always wondered can you ask for halves in Canada much like we can here in the states. I'm sure I can google it but I bet you have the answer

You can always try, but the best way to get half dollars is to ask for any weird looking coins they might have.

Never found a silver Canadian half, but about 150 dimes.
