I was hoping black Friday would provide a bit of a boon, not so much. Found the following through the first 6 bags:
Australia

Bahamas
S20181203_0003.jpg S20181203_0004.jpg
and a 2000:

Over the 6 bags, averaged 15 wheats per, WELL below my normal average...luckily, the latest bag made up for it:

Found my 3rd dump!!!!!

248 wheats, including four 100 year old ones (1917, 1917D, 1918x2) 5 from 1919, 7 from the '20s, and 15 from the 30's! Also found these:

S20181206_0010.jpg S20181206_0011.jpg

And, I have 3 more bags to go, as I didn't start pulling these until the bottom of the bag, so there may be more! Gonna be a good weekend! Happy hunting everyone!

Rosco: you sure have gone a long way since the beginning of this year when you join the TN., congrats on your accomplishments. Just where do you find so much time?

Love finding wheats! Nice finds.. are you searching these by hand?

Yes and no. I sort through the bag by hand, pull out all wheats/canadian/2009 and stack the 1972, 1983, 1984, 1992, 1995, 1998, 1999 and 2000, then sort through those with the microscope for the errors.

Appreciate it! As far as the time, I have no life... I work, come home and play with my dogs or sort change. My mother helps out once in a while too, she's found more buffalos in nickel bags we do together than I have.

This is ALL why CRH'g is a family hobby in some cases, and relaxing to others. You're not really SPENDING anything on the hobby since it's all at FV, not counting your time and gasoline, but you'll find that in any hobby.
