Don't think I will get any halves this week as I order them Monday morning by 8:30 am and there is 14 inches of fresh snow out there from an overnight storm so no one will be at the banks for a while.

Yikes. We got all heavy rain the last few days.

I've always liked to shovel snow and find it relaxing. Even though we usually get rain when you get snow, I still have several different kinds of snow shovels for different types and amounts of snow (yes, my kids, out on their own now for years, still joke about all these shovels...).

This stuff was really heavy and wet! about 30 pounds per shovel full, we call it heart attack snow

Got to take it slow and careful when its that heavy and wet. I prefer a slightly smaller shovel blade with ergonomic handle for the heaviest stuff. The end of the driveway where the plow leaves a mountain of it is always the worst. i resort to a flat ended spade for that compressed stuff.

I normally use a Ariens snowblower, the 28" Professional with 10 HP engine, throws the snow 60 FEET!

Two more skunk boxes today - now up to 21 consecutive. My wife said she thinks she's forgotten what silver looks like. So I showed her the silver in my whiskers.

Silver is slow here too. I'll go 3 skunk boxes and then find one silver half, rinse, repeat. At least I am finding the 1974-D DDO, 4 in the last 5 boxes.

TxAg - you are the king of the 74-D DDO. I check every 74-D and have found one in over 100 boxes. And it was the next coin, seconds after my wife asked "Are we ever going to find one of those?"

This skunk streak is not just of silver. When we're finding silver, we also find impaired proofs. We haven't found a single proof during this skunk streak - which to me, suggests there is a temporary lack of collection dumps. We do find a few NIFC coins, but once available, those probably don't get removed from the population like the silver or impaired proofs. At least we have gotten past box after box of unc 94 coins, so there is still a glimmer of hope.

Got 4 boxes have gone through 2 so far, the second one broke a short skunk streak, a single 1966 40%

Been very busy, joined a remote Telescope group, where I can take deep sky pictures over the net by personally controlling a scope in the Canary Islands or Chile.

Two more boxes gotten today, went through the first of the 4 and found 1 1967 40% so not a skunk, it was the 3rd to last roll

Haven't done any searching in a month, wife separated the tendons on her knee in a fall and I have been taking care of her, she is doing ok, had them reattached and is in a brace now,for now

Been out of commission for 2 months, in fact finally finished going through my last $500 in halves and made my first order of 2 boxes for this week.

Found 1 1968D 40% in the 500 so not a skunk

Bank called me today, the coin counter where I have been watching the half bag for almost a year is 99.9% full so tomorrow I will go fill it and buy it.

BUT it was about 1/2 full only 2 months ago so I think someone must have dumped in it, a competitor, but at least half of it are raw coins, I saw it go a few a week

Greetings from Skunktown 500 miles to your south. Skunk streak at 10 boxes for dimes and 12 boxes for halves. But I did score a CWR of Ikes yesterday, my first.
Would love to find a bank that would sell me a bag!
