4 more bags of Nickels, got a 1950 (11th, just the P), a 1944P, and these two:

No mint marks for either, figure I'm lucky enough to get a date.

Also pulled this, guessing someone had fun with a blowtorch, but maybe lamination error?

Happy hunting everyone!

That's a very clear date on the '36 - Buffs tend to wear off their dates with general circulation, so that's a particularly nice pull. Congrats! :skullflag: :occasion14:

The biggest fault with buffs is the DATE AREA it is the Highest part of the entire coin, and will be the first spot to wear down.

I wish the banks around me would sell me the bags they have but I can’t find one that will

I agree. I realized recently that I have a few banks near me that have counters and I wondered the same.

How do i ask them to sell me bags without them thinking i am insane. And, are dime bags worth it because many machines reject silver anyway. Any help from anyone here would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

All I did was explain to the tellers what I was doing, they let me speak to the vault manager, I asked what would be easiest for them. Was polite as possible and up-front with them. Maybe I'm just extremely lucky that they're all pretty cool about it.

Bags were always near impossible for me to find, but some banks will if you ask. Sweet scores!

CJ9 The only machines I know of that reject silver are coinstars, I dont think bank ones generally do. You can always test it if you are really curious :)
