After two skunk boxes yesterday http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,121980.0.html and no boxes scheduled until tomorrow, I thought I'd try to roust up some halves.
Bank #1 - $1 in halves; skunk
Bank #2 - $1 in halves: found a '67
Bank #3 - $129.50 in bagged halves off a coin counter: found a '67 and another magician coin (working on my second roll of those BTW). Another teller in that bank did sell me a '74 Ike while I was waiting for the bag of halves.
Bank #4 - $480 in loose (hand) rolls: Those are always a gamble. You're either going to be incredibly lucky as someone cashed in a "lifetime" of collecting halves, or equally unlucky as you just bought someones dumps. My case was the latter. Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
