..............to December (thus far)

After two skunk boxes yesterday http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,121980.0.html and no boxes scheduled until tomorrow, I thought I'd try to roust up some halves.

Bank #1 - $1 in halves; skunk

Bank #2 - $1 in halves: found a '67

Bank #3 - $129.50 in bagged halves off a coin counter: found a '67 and another magician coin (working on my second roll of those BTW). Another teller in that bank did sell me a '74 Ike while I was waiting for the bag of halves.

Bank #4 - $480 in loose (hand) rolls: Those are always a gamble. You're either going to be incredibly lucky as someone cashed in a "lifetime" of collecting halves, or equally unlucky as you just bought someones dumps. My case was the latter. Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Box # 323 was modestly fruitful: 68dx3, 03d, 04p, 05d and an 05 (CuNi) proof; for a total of seven keepers

But Box #324 was another skunk. :(

Must be back in the "valley" of the roller coaster, yet again.
