Today's hunt...
I just finished going through the "mortgage payment" (five Brinks Boxes). There was some good news for this hunt, as all of the boxes produced something worth keeping. I ended up with 17 40%, 1 1964 Kennedy, one 1987 D, and five proofs (one of which was a 1987 S). The 1987 will be placed in the little guy's Half Dollar Book, and I also give him the proofs so he can put them in another book.
While I was waiting for the boxes to be brought out of the vault, I was spying the Susan B Anthony's in the teller's tray, when she asked me if I was interested in the 6 rolls that she had in the back. I said "sure". I ended up with three rolls of uncirculated 1979 Ps, and the rest were circulated. I am going to save the uncirculated coins, and just spend the other ones.
I have another six boxes coming in next week, and I hope to find some more treasures!
