It appears to be brass due to a plating error the mint made. See page 199 in STRIKE IT RICH WITH POCKET CHANGE, it gives a rundown on the Brass Plated Cents. A collector has offered $30, but I'm going to have this one checked out by an expert as I don't see any 92's listed as having this plating error.

Always fun to hear about those skunk boxes... lends credence to the fact that Brinks sorts out the copper.

Got pictures of the brass cent?
