Am looking to buy lower-graded 1944-D Mercury dimes for a research project. I want to keep it as consistent as possible so only interested in those graded by PCGS. I already have a few reference coins of this date graded MS-58 and into the 60's, and now need some in the mid-50's and lower. No need (or wallet) for high-grades.

Thanks!

Who with any kind of brains at all would have a 44d dime with wear graded?

With the exception of trying to get a lowball grade, I have no idea but you'd be surprised by how many have been graded at lower levels. Of all the Mercs, I went with this year/mint because it seemed to have the most coins graded across the spectrum.
