Anybody recommend a silver/gold coin/bar buying site?

Just wondering if anyone has dealt with any online dealers of gold and silver coins and had a good experience? If so where from? Any places to avoid? Thanks for any help in advance!

I find that EBay has the best options for buying Gold and Silver Bars. I tried to go to the minting companies myself and I tried going to jewelery stores. When It came down to it EBay was the best source. You pay close to melt value and sometimes get great deals. The minting companies won't do that and they are hard to buy from, same with the stores. You can get most size bars from 1 gram to 10 Ounces or higher on EBay.

Coins you should go to a local dealer or coin shop. If you don't have one drive to the next town or whatever you'll find one. Private Auctions are good too outside of EBay and in your town.

Their are some really good prices on ebay, I'm just always very wary of being ripped off on ebay

Ebay is a crapshoot with this kinda thing. Even some PCGS coins are fakes. You can learn to spot this fake stuff but it takes a while
