Sweet :icon_sunny: I have bought a few oldies at flee markets and they are great finds for me.
I only spend about what a pack of batteries cost. It is all in the hunt that allures me.

Here is another one....
This is a cleaned coin that is starting to recolor. Fits my budget and my type set quite well.

Very very nie Packr. That 1904 IH really caught my eye. Then the rest started looking just as nice. Somer beautiful oldies you have. I could only dream of putting a set like that together. Don't think my house would bring in enough to cover those these days.

Here is another Large Cent. This 1831 will replace the 1838 above.

In my opinion the search for the "right" coin is part of the attraction for me. When I have money to spend and know what exactly what I am looking for the hunt is fun. I look at and handle alot of coins.

I may start another thread with just random pics of some of the better stuff that I buy and sell.

Anyway.......

Here is one more replacement. In with the new, 1804. Out with the old, 1807.

Very nice collection...I love those large cents. My next coin I want to add to my collection is a Vermont colonial but havnt found the right one yet. I have found a couple nice ones for sale at a good price but they didn't have a date and the ones with dates usually have bad detail. I was told I could find a decent one at a monthly coin show in Nasuha NH. Gotta check into it.

A Vermont Copper is on my list as well. My problem is that the coin that I would want is the coin that I cant afford.
I hate to settle for less than REALLY NICE !!

Here is one more Large Cent that I picked up recently.

Another Type set coin arrived today. 1854 "with arrows" Half Dime.

Now that summer is here I tend to drift away from the coins a little. The Type set has changed a little from the first group pics at the top of the post. Should I do some updated group pictures?

Thanks for all of the great comments

Its been a while but I thought that I would show off the 1810/09 Classic Head Large Cent that I recently bought.
She came from the ground. Still very nice details. Affordable.

Nice additions to the set. :icon_thumright: I've started a set myself but can't locate a good portion of my coin collection. :( I packed up a ton of stuff for storage while doing some restoration work and am going nuts trying to find things, no labels on containers. :tard:
