I am always interested in hearing about counterfeit coins....I could see rare coinage....but seems like a lot of work for the run of mint during the time. I read a story of someone counterfeiting nickles but the product had a greasy type of feel to them.

lots of collectors after old bust counterfeits, try: http://cccbhcc.com/index.html
This is an absolutely FANTASTIC site Redbird. Do you have any other links for counterfeit US coin collectors? I have 2 large cents, an 1824 half, and an 1885 dollar. ALL counterfeits. Thanks for the link and your help. PM me. Hogge :headbang:
