    "Rattler" coin

What does it mean when a coin is described as a rattler?

    Re: "Rattler" coin

Do you mean a PCGS graded coin? If so it's referring to the type of older plastic container they used in the past, which allowed the coin to move around ever so slightly. The coin would "rattle" around in the slab. If it's a coin you are referring to.....I have no idea.

The coin I'm asking about is a coin in a PCGS holder.
    Thanks.
